Spring Black Bears come in many different color variations ranging from blonde, cinnamon shades, and black.
Spring Bear hunting in these Selway Bitterroot mountain areas has a definite challenge. We must cross over the Green Mountain Pass at 7,150 feet. Once over the pass, there is virtually no one for 40 miles in any direction or more.
